Accessed via https://www.magezi.ac.ug, Magezi Harvest Limited’s content delivery platform is a simple to use website that guarantees a hassle-free experience for visitors.
The platform is designed to cater for the needs of a non-urban learner with limited access to computing devices and limited connectivity as well as those of a more urban learner with unlimited access to internet and other computing resources.

User-friendly design and usage of QR Code

Magezi Harvest recently introduced the use of Quick Response (QR) codes for signing in. This feature was designed to lessen the burden of memorising student codes and passwords on learners. Learners can now seamlessly effortlessly access our system by simply pointing a smartphone or tablet camera into the QR code and start accessing content.

Online, and Offline Access

The agility of our tech team enables us to respond to various user demands like the desire to access content offline - with the option of synchronising with the cloud platform whenever connectivity is established.

Affordability

We believe that while brilliance is evenly distributed, opportunity is not and therefore we should make it possible for every learner to access world class learning resources at a reasonable cost. Our platform is accessed at the cost of one chapati (UGX 3,000) per month, which is less than 1 dollar! We are breaking the walls of class and other social strata to spread opportunity.

Mobile Apps

Our content delivery platform is accessible on different devices such as computers, tablets and mobile devices. Our Android application is available and the iOS version will be released by June 2024.

Target Audience

Our content is curated for learners at all levels of education i.e. Nursery to University.

Extensive Coverage

Our content delivery platform adheres to NCDC standards and covers all learning areas and subjects stipulated by the National Curriculum for pre-university levels of education. We have also taken into consideration the programmes of Universities that are accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) when adding content for University learners.

Strategic content generation partnerships

Our Ecosystem lead in charge of partnerships is working tirelessly with her team to establish strategic partnerships with leading schools at both primary and secondary school levels. Such institutions which we have approached and are in advanced stages of actualising these partnerships include King’s College Budo, Victorious Education Services among others. The teachers at these institutions will provide live classes and also share their class material and teaching schemes for the benefit of the rest of the country.

Full range access

When a student subscribes at Magezi Harvest he/she has access to a multitude of learning resources delivered in different formats.
These include;
  • Revision material in flip-book format
  • Embedded YouTube video tutorials and lessons
  • Quizzes and Practice examinations on demand
  • Scheduled Live classes through embedded Google Meet
  • Personalized performance tracker and progress report - complete with recommendations

In the pipeline

We are committed to continued growth and this is evident with the resolve of our content team to continuously curate the most up-to-date content and scout for the highest peer-rated educators to bring them to the Ugandan learners. We hope to improve our partnerships with Ugandan educators and other stakeholders in the furtherance of our vision and mission.

Planned Service Additions

On top of expanding the reach of our platform to iPhone and iPad users with the release of the iOS apps in June of 2025, we also intend to increase the number of features that promote collaboration amongst learners and educators on the platform by using Artificial Intelligence to match those with the skills and the ones in need. For instance, the system will examine the learner’s record and propose the live classes they should attend, as well as propose to the teachers the topics that will benefit the learners at that level the most.

Reach every student in Uganda

Our ultimate goal is to achieve last mile coverage for learners in Uganda by impacting more than 1 million learners within the next two years.
We firmly believe that every student should have the chance to study and develop, and we are dedicated to achieving this objective.

Alignment with current curriculum

We will continue doing our best to help learners and teachers cope with the demands and expectations of implementing the new curricula at the different levels of education in Uganda. We hope to have in-house curriculum specialists to enhance our adherence to this.

Sensitisation Campaigns and innovation

We will continue to be aggressive about our content delivery platform and spread the word with a view of changing mindsets on the possibilities of technology-assisted learning and encourage partners to work with us to develop more tools such as simulators to help learners get the best out of what they are being
